Dispora: Formula E Commitment Fee Budget Complies with Procedures and Regulations

The Jakarta administration has paid the commitment fee for Formula E event in accordance with procedures and all applicable regulations and through the approval of the Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD).

The loan has been paid off through the disbursement of the agency's DPPA in December 2019

After being chosen as the host of the 7th 2020 electric car racing event (ABB FIA Formula E World Championship), the administration must pay a commitment fee at least one year before the event, which is in 2019.

Jakarta Youth and Sports Agency (Dispora) Head, Achmad Firdaus said that the allocation for the payment of all commitment fees had been discussed with the legislature and its allocation had been approved in the 2019 Budget Change Implementation Document (DPPA). "Payment of term 1 commitment fee by Rp 180 billion in October 2019 through a short-term loan from Bank DKI conducted in accordance with applicable regulations. The loan has been paid off through the disbursement of the agency's DPPA in December 2019," he expressed, Tuesday (11/9), as quoted by Jakarta PPID's press release.
